Offset Guide
Kansei fitment
Offset, in Plain Terms
Offset is the distance, in millimeters, between the middle of the wheel and the face that bolts to your car. A lower number pushes the whole wheel out toward the fender.
On the Car
Same Wheel, Three Offsets
-
+35 Tucked
Sits inside the fender line. Easiest to live with.
-
+22 Flush
Lines up with the fender line.
-
+12 Aggressive
Sits past the fender line. Fender work is likely.
Example car.
Width Moves It Too
Every extra half inch of width adds about 6 mm on each side of the wheel.
